![]() The Elected Auditors meet once a year in January at its annual Reorganization meeting. The elected auditors, nevertheless, work together very closely with the Township staff and appointed auditors to insure that all Township funds are properly expended and accounted for. As the Township has grown, most of these functions have been contracted for with an auditing firm who performs the annual compliance audits and prepares the Township's financial statements. ![]() The duties of the elected auditors are spelled out in the Code governing Township's of the Second Class and involve the following: shall audit, settle and adjust the accounts of the Supervisors, Superintendents, Roadmaster, Treasurer, and Tax Collector of the Township and fix the compensations for the current year authorized for Supervisors. The Board of Auditors comprise of three individuals who are elected by the residents of East Norriton Township for staggered six year terms.
